On 5 August, 2015 century old Buddhist organization Bangladesh Bouddha Samiti ( Bangladesh Buddhist Association) arranged a relief distribution program among the recent flood affected people of the region of Bathua, Talsara, Chenamoti, Oshkhain & Mutsuddipara at the Bathua Gyanodoy Bihar premises.
Chairman Mr. Ajit Ranjan Barua was in the chair of Chief Guest along with Vice Chairman Mr. Nripati Ranjan Barua, Secretary General Mr. Sudip Barua as Special Guests and Mr. Saroj Kanti Barua, Office Secretary & Mr. Rakhal Chandra Barua of the organization were present at the program. Ven. Shilabhadra Mahathero was the prompter and Ven. Dharmarakkhit Bhikkhu as welcome speaker of the program.
